Pay Details

$65,600 – $98,400 CAD per year. TD offers a competitive salary range with opportunities for progression based on performance, experience, and business needs. Base pay may vary by candidate qualifications and location. Compensation questions are welcome and will be discussed during the interview process.

Department Overview

Small Business Banking is a dynamic division within the Business Banking Portfolio at TD. The vision is to become the Official Partner of Big Dreams for Canadian small and medium‑sized businesses. The team focuses on building strong personal and professional relationships with clients, supporting them through entrepreneurship, stability, growth, and transition. Our strategy is to be Better Business Bankers while making small business banking accessible and affordable.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and expand existing customer relationships, networking with local business leaders to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Understand clients’ needs and provide customized information and advice tailored to each customer.
  • Collaborate with Internal Branch Banking, Commercial Banking Centers and Wealth partners to offer holistic advice and resources.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and grow knowledge of the business, tools, and techniques; participate in knowledge sharing within the team and business unit.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment that promotes quality, innovation and teamwork; ensure timely communication of issues.

Job Requirements

  • University degree and / or relevant entry‑level work experience; Accounting / Finance coursework is an asset but can also be gained through experience.
  • Ability to cultivate long‑term client relationships and acquire new clients.
  • Excellent business development and prospecting skills to build valuable centers of influence within the local business community and retail branches.
  • Dynamic professional with a positive attitude and strong communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
