Description de posteProgram & supplier management Open issue tracking with proactive issue resolution Delivery to all vehicle program milestones and all aspects of cradle to grave functional integration activity, including : Authoring of specifications Sourcing documents Change management Requirements clarification and cross-functional team alignment Program development timelines Develop system level diagnostics Conduct HW / SW design reviews Author / review / approve FMEAs & DVPRs Launch support Safe-launch plan development Identify quality improvements Rapid response to warranty Technical cost reductions Documenting lessons learned, etc. 0-3 years of relevant automotive experience preferred; will consider recent college graduates Detail oriented, results driven Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team with minimal oversight / direction Logical thinker who can systematically sort through complex issues in pursuit of a resolution Excellent organizational skills Experience with organizing and presenting large data sets Functional use of internal systems (CN, GIMS, CCD, EBOM, WIS, etc.) Experience with Controller Area Network (CAN) Familiar with CAN / Ethernet communication protocols and troubleshooting tools Experience with Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer or Canoe) Experience with CDA Diagnostic Application tool Experience in root cause and DFSS techniques (is-is not, 5-why, DMAIC, 8D, 5-penny, fishbone / fault-tree analysis) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Job Description :
- The Operations Engineer will be part of the functional integration team working on ADAS features leading up to and after launch.
- The engineer will analyze data coming in from development vehicles as well as vehicles in the field to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- The engineer will lead the cross-functional resolution of connected ADAS within the organization and support broader functional integrator objectives, as requested.
