About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Commercial Underwriter to join our dynamic Underwriting department. In this role, you will evaluate and assess the risks of commercial insurance applications, ensuring our clients are provided with fair and accurate coverage options. What You'll Do

• Analyze and evaluate commercial insurance applications to determine risk exposure and coverage eligibility.
• Conduct thorough financial and credit assessments of businesses to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with senior underwriters, brokers, and agents to ensure clear communication and efficient processing of applications.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Prepare and present underwriting reports and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of client accounts and underwriting activities.
• Assist in developing customized insurance solutions tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Participate in training and development programs to strengthen underwriting knowledge and skills.
