Nanny

Job Title : Live-Out NannyLocation : KamloopsJob Type : Full-Time About Us : We are a family of 4 seeking a responsible and nurturing live-out nanny to care for our teenaged children (13 year old with ASD and 18 year old using substances) and manage household tasks.

Key Responsibilities : Childcare : - Provide attentive and caring supervision for 2 children. - Engage children in fun activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Pet care : - Feed, walk, and care for animals (cat and dog)Transportation : - Safely transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities.

Ensure timely arrival for scheduled events.Meal Preparation : - Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for household - Involve children in age-appropriate cooking activities.

Household Management : - Perform housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, mopping, deep cleans and doing laundry. - Maintain a clean and safe environment, Occasional Live In Support : - Provide overnight care on occasion, ensuring children feel comfortable and secure- primarily on weekends.

Communication : - Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns.Qualifications : - Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare is preferred.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).- Cultural competency to work with Indigenous youth - Ability to pass CRC and Caregiver screenings.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.- Strong communication skills and a nurturing personality.- Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends for sleepovers.
