Tasks

  • Develop programs for new CNC lathes.
  • Prepare the start-up and select the necessary tooling for the manufacturing of precision parts.
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes.
  • Optimize programs to maximize production efficiency while maintaining high precision standards.
  • Make adjustments and corrections during production to maintain accuracy and resolve existing issues.
  • Perform regular dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

    • Job requirements

  • DEP in machining techniques and / or DEC in mechanical engineering or any other training deemed relevant.
  • Minimum 5 years or more of experience as a CNC Programmer Machinist.
  • Good knowledge of Mastercam and / or ESPRIT programming.
  • Experience in machining molds and precision parts is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of Goodway and Mazak CNC Lathes is an asset.
