Position Overview :
In the Apprentice Automotive Lube Technician role, you will play a crucial role in terms of the customer experience in conducting maintenance procedures to determine vehicle repair requirements and providing accurate recommendations to our customers.
Job Responsibilities :
Performs Oil & filter changesPerform complete multi-point inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service AdvisorDiagnose issues such as noises, leaks, etc.Perform vehicle repairs / parts replacement if qualifiedInspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessaryLubricates moving parts with specified lubricantsTire mounting / balancing, rotations and repairsCommunicates with parts department to obtain needed partsReports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisorDocuments all work performed on the repair orderParticipates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service managerEnsures that customers' cars are kept cleanNotifies Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicleKeeps shop area neat and cleanOperates all tools and equipment in a safe mannerOther tasks as assignedRequirements :
Minimum of Level 1 Service Automotive Apprentice trainingFamiliarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an assetProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicExcellent communication and organizational skillsEfficient problem-solving skillsAbility to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and ability to use power and hand-held equipmentMust possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving historyAbility to work individually and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and work ethicMust possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
