What you'll do

Responsibilities

Acadia seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Financial Services Department to process payments to vendors, students, faculty, and staff in an accurate and timely manner. This requires attention to payment terms and discounts while ensuring that departmental approvals have been obtained and university policies are followed.

Specific responsibilities include :

• post invoices in a timely manner
• communicate with suppliers and employees regarding outstanding payables or payment discrepancies
• process weekly cheque runs
• file invoices, journal entries and other purchase documents
• post journal entries
• sort office mail
