Respond to client calls, mail, emails in a prompt and friendly manner ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all timesResponsible for New Business workflows with Account ExecutivesReview renewals and make recommendations, completing comparison quotes and remarket when needed. Ensuring renewals are delivered to the clients in a timely matter.Review and issue Certificates of InsuranceAccurately handle change requests with attention to risk managementHandle Complex Accounts to provide creative, effective solutions that meet the needs of clientsFunction as a front-line underwriter for qualifying, maintaining, and promoting sound quality businessSupport clients with reporting claims and follow up in a timely manner to ensure quality service from insurance partnersManage account receivables for accountsWork closely with Account Executives to identify other lines of business as cross sell opportunitiesHere’s what you will need to be successful :
5 or more years’ experience in the insurance industry with 3 or more years of experience in commercial insurance preferredRIBO LicensePost-secondary degree or diploma in Insurance, Business, Finance, Administration or other area of study is an asset but not mandatoryPositively adapts to change and maintains quality of work effectively under pressureStrong organizational and time management skillsA collaborative, team-player with strong work ethic and accountabilityExcellent written and oral communication skills with high regard for attention to detail, confidentiality and respectExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsWorking towards CAIB or CIP Designation is preferredComputer proficient : MS Office Suite. Insurance-specific software experience is required. Experience specifically with Power Broker and Policy Works is an asset.
