We’re a full-service HR delivery team that sources, coordinates, interviews, advises, and delivers exceptional experiences, to both the internal teams we partner, with and our candidates.
Your role will be to lead the full-cycle recruitment journey for all types of roles and to work with leaders and managers in all lines of business, providing your expertise in helping them attract and secure the best possible talent for their business needs.
We’re a busy team, so multi-tasking and a love of efficiency are a must.
What you will do :
Develop an understanding of the business, external market trends, and their impact on the company and implement strategies to attract top talent through a variety of sourcing channels, (i.
e., social media, job boards, and employee referrals)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective recruiting plans to meet those needs
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit with our organization's culture and values
- Increase Cowan’s employment brand by participating in campus recruitment strategy, including attending career fairs, developing relationships with key university stakeholders, and coordinating campus interviews
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience and an efficient hiring process
- Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and provide insights to the business on recruitment trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other members of the HR team on various initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, employer branding, and onboarding.
- Assist in managing external vendor and / or agency contracts, relationships, and agreements to ensure exceptional service levels and efficiency of spend
What you will bring :
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition with a focus on sourcing and / or proactive recruitment
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technology tools
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with campus recruitment an asset
