Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including : experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Job Profile Summary :
Independently lead projects, including cross-functional teams to support the completion of regulatory requests for information.
Independently lead and execute the development and maintenance of compliance controls, governance and workflows, including obtaining approvals where required.
Independently develop and execute comprehensive communications & presentations to keep senior management and distribution partners informed about regulatory and compliance initiatives and rating errors.
Proactively create and / or utilize data analytics tools to monitor rate errors and analyse data on compliance related projects.
Research, analyze and resolve various compliance and regulatory issues.
Share insights and collaborate strongly with cross-functional teams within the organization to enhance & drive overall IFC Compliance.
Ensure strategic alignment and consistent communication of compliance initiatives across all stakeholders (including Leadership), including broker partners and insureds.
Identify, lead the development and execution of rating error detection and prevention initiatives based on emerging trends within IFC.
Additional Skills
University degree / college diploma or a combination of experience and education
CRM and / or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation highly preferred
Minimum 8-10 years experience in Personal Lines Underwriting or Compliance
Project Management or Legal / Compliance experience preferred
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Above average skill with Office365 tools, including SharePoint and Excel
Must be knowledgeable about Company's policies and standards regarding underwriting rules and processes
