Your work environment at EXP

EXP’s Markham office is currently seeking a Pavement and Materials Engineer-in-Training to join our team. As part of the Geotechnical / Pavement group and reporting directly to Project Managers and Engineers you will be responsible for the field work that may include :

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Carry out pavement testing, sampling and evaluations with specialized equipment
• Conduct field investigations and inspections to assess the condition of existing pavements
• Supervision of drilling, soil sampling and identification
• Preparation of borehole logs and location plans
• Experience or ability to understand and interpret utility locates
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and municipal personnel
• Coordinate project tasks with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations are met
• Assist project manager or engineers to prepare engineer reports, construction specifications, drawings and cost estimates

Carry out field inspections to verify quality of construction works and materials compliances
