Collective Construction is a growing new company that loves building outside the box. We’ve helped build unique projects where we help execute the customer’s vision, including important civic projects and medium to large projects.
We seek a Journeyperson or 3rd / 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter in Fort McMurray, Alberta, who can help make customers’ ideas reality.
Our Team Members enjoy working with an upbeat crew who can have fun while getting work done. They are trusted to make their own decisions while being supported instead of micromanaged.
We are based in town, and you can be home by 5 : 30 every evening. There are opportunities for overtime for those who want or need it.
We offer an excellent wage of $40 per hour for a Journeyperson, along with benefits, generous vacation pay, and up to 3 months of accommodation to help candidates who need to relocate.
We also offer profit-sharing incentives for Team Members who help build our business. We are also transparent with project plans and budgets so we can offer our team financial incentives based on getting the job done right and on time.

Qualifications
What you need to succeed
- Qualified in Alberta as a Journeyperson Carpenter, or 3rd or 4th year apprentices
- Customer Service Mindset
- Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Strong Written / Verbal Communication Skills
- Leadership abilities and a focus on team

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
1.Reading blueprints and drawings to fully grasp project requirements
2.Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
3.Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
4.Build windows, frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
5.Communicating candidly and professionally with customers, building trust and repeat business
6.Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials required and ordering materials when needed
7.Inspect buildings and structures, conducting required repairs and maintenance
8.Completing Work Orders and other administrative paperwork in a timely fashion
9.Other duties as required
Pay Rate
$40 per hour
