Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a cookie manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a busy manufacturing setting.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a high standard of food safety.
• Handle and transport consumer packaged goods using CB and Raymond reach forklifts.
• Assist with packing and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Utilize computer systems to track inventory and manage product movement.

Essential Skills

• Forklift certification with experience in CB and Raymond reach forklifts.
• Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• At least 3+ years of forklift driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment

Work in a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility that operates under strict GMP standards. The environment is peanut-free, ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace for all. Employees must wear hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection. The position requires flexibility for weekend night shifts and other shifts during the week, including day, afternoon, and night.

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
