Slot Technician (Full-time) - Port Perry

Overview

Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel is seeking a Full-time Slot Technician. Under the direction of the Slot Technician Supervisor, this position will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining slot machines to minimize downtime and loss of revenue to the casino in a timely manner. Slot Technicians must adhere to company policies and procedures and the Internal Control Manual of the Slot Technical Department to maintain the integrity of the games and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair slot machines.
• Perform Slot Machine Moves, Conversions, Game installs, and other slot projects as assigned and in conjunction with applicable Alcohol and Gaming Commission Ontario (AGCO) regulations and Casino internal controls.
• Set up game options and tests including hardware, firmware and system interfaces, to include confirmation that all are accurate and functional.
• Daily computer use including Microsoft Office, in-house slot management programs and others as needed.
• Document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
• Assist guests with any needs or concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Slot Projects may require travel to other One Toronto locations.

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.
