CNC wood machine tool operator

Walton’s Woodworking Ltd. is a woodworking company specializing in custom commercial, industrial, and high-end residential cabinetry and furniture in the Langley area.

Compensation :

25.00 - $28.00 (to be negotiated).

Job Duties :

• Check and maintain machinery daily re manufacturers recommended schedule
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, drawings, and asking questions
• This position is for an operator that is capable of doing their own basic programming and jminor modifications to existing programs
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments that will improve quality
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment

Requirements :

4+ years experience operating a wood and panel based CNC

with a minimum 2 years doing basic modifications and creations of programs

Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work well with others.

Lift and move items weighing up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Terms of Employment :

Full-time, permanent position.

Typical hours : 07 : 00 – 15 : 30
