Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and detail-oriented Field Business Technician to support day-to-day administrative, operational, and coordination activities within a field-based environment for our client in Edson, AB on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will handle sensitive and confidential information while working with limited supervision. You will act as a key communication link across departments, support field operations, and contribute to a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the organization.

Administrative & Office Coordination
Greet and sign in guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.Manage, order, and track office supplies and inventory.Maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring accurate records management and retention.Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, forms, and other documentation for operations staff.Take meeting minutes and distribute them as needed.Field & Operations Support
Coordinate and track field requests, ensuring timely follow-up and execution.Provide vendor relations support, including communication, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.Review and / or approve Operations invoices.Track vendor spending, investigate discrepancies, and support cost-control initiatives.Maintain organizational hierarchy listings and cost center information.Organize and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) for field staff.Coordinate staff safety training and maintain up-to-date documentation.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Deliver courteous, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.Serve as a key communicator within the department using Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including IT and Finance, to support invoicing, requisitions, and operational needs.Update and distribute procedures, monitoring guides, organizational charts, handbooks, and manuals.Support shared team responsibilities to ensure overall departmental goals are met.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.Diploma in Business or Office Administration.Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (experience in the oil & gas industry considered an asset).Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise software.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Strong understanding of professional office procedures.High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to take initiative.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
