Duties

STREAM 1 : GL-MAN-02 - Provides general labour services to support grounds, roads and facilities maintenance. This includes installation and repair of facilities, structures, and fencing as well as other general labour requirements. This position involves general computer use.

STREAM 2 : GL-MAN-03 - Provides general labour services to support grounds, roads and facilities maintenance. This includes installation and repair of facilities, structures, and fencing as well as other general labour requirements. This position involves general computer use. Ensures workplace compliance to occupational health and safety requirements. As Labourer Maintenance Worker ll, you may be required to supervise a small group of employees.

Work environment

Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

Intent of the process

The intent of the process is to fill various term and seasonal indeterminate appointments. These seasonal indeterminate appointments will occur annually and depending on the position being offered could range from 4 to 10 months / year.
