Tamatta Mining & Construction is seeking highly skilled Underground Equipment Mechanics for a leading client in the mining industry. If you have extensive underground maintenance experience and are ready for a rewarding fly-in fly-out opportunity, this is your chance!

Position : Experienced Underground Equipment Mechanics

Location : Nunavut, with charter flights out of Quebec

Schedule : 14 days on / 14 days off

Fly-In Fly-Out : Paid flights, comfortable hotels, and full benefits from day one

Start Date : Immediate openings!

What We’re Looking For :

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an underground equipment mechanic
• Proven track record maintaining and repairing heavy underground machinery
• Strong working knowledge of Sandvik, Maclean, Toyota, and Caterpillar equipment
• Valid Trade Certification (Red Seal or equivalent) in Heavy Duty or Mobile Equipment Mechanics
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues effectively
• Knowledge of underground safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and criminal record check
