Investment Analyst - Private Credit

Our client is sourcing an Investment Analyst - Private Credit to join their team.

About the Opportunity

Fund Accounting & Reporting :

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private equity funds in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.

Maintain general ledgers, capital accounts, and waterfall models.

Calculate NAV, management fees, carried interest, and investor allocations.

Support year-end audit processes, including preparation of audit packages and responding to auditor inquiries.

Reconcile cash, investments, and other balance sheet accounts. Investor Services :

Prepare and review capital call notices, distribution notices, and investor statements.

Maintain investor records, commitments, and capital activity schedules.

Assist with investor reporting packages and respond to investor inquiries. Operations & Compliance :

Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and third- Party service providers.

Ensure compliance with partnership agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Support tax teams with information required for K-1s, T5013s, and other tax filings.

Assist in onboarding new funds, entities, and investment structures. Investment Support :

Track investment activity, including acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, and income.

Reconcile investment performance metrics and support internal reporting.

Collaborate with deal teams to understand transaction flows and fund impacts.

About You

Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA designation (or progress toward CPA) preferred.

1–4 years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or financial services; private equity experience is an asset. Technical Skills :

Strong understanding of GAAP / IFRS and partnership accounting.

Proficiency with Excel; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, Yardi, Allvue) is an advantage.

Ability to interpret complex legal documents such as LPAs and subscription agreements.
