We're a well-established, bustling, and award-winning Home Renovations Company operating in the Greater Toronto Area. Currently, seeking highly skilled individuals who are not just motivated and knowledgeable, but also hands-on, to join us in the role of site foreman (Lead Carpenter / Project Manager).

Ideal candidates should possess a wealth of experience, qualifications, certifications, and the necessary tools to proficiently handle all aspects of residential construction tasks while ensuring seamless project operations. Here's what we're seeking :

RELIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience (Journeyman level)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Good physical and mental fitness
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Attentive to quality workmanship
  • Strong team planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent client management and relationship-building abilities
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in residential construction
  • Capacity to identify and resolve unique construction-related issues

THE ROLE ENTAILS :

  • Maintaining clean and organized job sites
  • Managing multiple employees and subcontractors
  • Ensuring accountability among team members
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols
  • Possession of a suitable work vehicle (e.g., truck, van, trailer)
  • Proficiency in materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety, and building codes
  • Ownership of necessary tools
  • Competence in layout, framing, and finishing for various remodeling home addition projects
  • Ability to handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc. tasks for smaller projects
  • Problem-solving skills for construction-related challenges
  • Experience in overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion (especially additions)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with team members, subcontractors, and homeowners
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
  • Current certifications in WHIMS, Fall Protection, First Aid, and MOL Supervisor Certificate

    • Note : Red Seal endorsement is preferred)

    The salary range for this position is approximately $70,000.00 - $100,000.00+ per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications, paid hourly.
