As part of our growing team, we are seeking a permanent full-time Industrial Spray Painter to paint casings / enclosures / housings of Air Conditioning equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Painting of industrial equipment and structural steel using industrial spray paint, pressure pot, and air assist airless pumps.
- Must be able to determine and make appropriate adjustments for temperature, humidity, due point, and surface temperature.
- Material paint preparation.
- Material shipping preparation.
- Cleaning tapped holes.
- Pressure washing assemblies.
- And other duties that would include before or aftercare of weldments.
- Job includes prep, cleaning, masking, and other production work as required.
Required Experience & Qualifications :
- Completion of High School / High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 2+ years of industrial painting experience. The selected candidate will need to have extensive experience spray painting with great attention to detail.
- Must be able to mix your own paint.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A certified Forklift / Crane Operator would be an asset.
- Practice safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations.
