Accountant

We have a new opening for an entry level Accountant. Reporting to our Financial Controller as well other members of the executive team. You will require a minimum of 2 years in an Accounting role. Experience working with the Financial Controllers to assist with reconciling accounts and various other assigned duties.

Accountant Qualifications/Skills and Job Responsibilities:

*Accounts Payable and Receivable Working Knowledge

*Analytical and problem-solving skills

*Time Management

*Ability to Multi-task

*Ability to file GST and PST returns is a plus

*Work in a collaborative team environment

*Monthly reconciliation and procedures in Quickbooks

*Assist with Audits

*Generate weekly/monthly financial statements detailing status of receivable and payable status do electronic reports and follow up with managers

*Prepare asset liability and capital account entries by analyzing account information

*Excellent communication skills in English verbal and written

*Ability to interpret and analyze financial data

*Accountant ethics and laws

*Taxation methods

*Managing all data and company information confidential and in high regard of policys

*Other accountant duties assigned as needed/required.
