Description de posteA reliable vehicle and basic hand tools Proficiency in using both hand and power tools Strong attention to detail The ability to adapt and handle changing working conditions and requirements Strong initiative to take proactive steps and anticipate needs without constant direction Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of all construction activities on-site Monitor project progress and report any deviations or issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner Execute site cleanup tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment, including the removal of debris and proper disposal of waste materials Perform minor repairs and touch-ups at various stages of construction Aid the Project Manager in conducting regular quality control inspections to ensure work is meeting specified standards and building codes Monthly Vehicle Allowance - Construction Assistants at Shane Homes are paid a monthly vehicle allowance to cover basic costs such as gas, maintenance and vehicle insurance. What You Bring to the Team
- A minimum of 3 years hands on construction experience
- A positive, upbeat, willing to learn attitude
- The ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions
- Basic understanding of residential construction, materials, methods and tools
- General knowledge and awareness of safety protocols and regulations
