2D Animator - Future needs

A true actor the 2D animator is responsible for the animation of scenes in a 2D animation series that typically includes characters sets and accessories. Skilled in undertaking cycle draw and retakes the 2D Animator collaborates with the Animation Supervisor the Lead Animator and the Director to create a highquality work and meets the technical and artistic requirements of the scene.

Key responsibilities

• Review the scene planning and the episodic animatics before animating to ensure scene direction is understood before animating
• Participate in episodic launches to discuss the goals of your scenes and the role they play in the story
• Animate (cutout) the assigned scenes while applying the animation principles : staging timing acting posing
• Rectify adjust reanimate scenes according to the requests of the client and production
• Manage and produce quality animated frames in Harmony within the established schedules
• Collaborate with your Supervisor to resolve complex ideas.
• Create walk and run cycles as needed
• Follow the soundtrack and provide appropriate lip assignment
• Apply camera mouvements
• Maximize reuse both in animation and drawings
• Make all requested corrections
• Coordinate with the Animation Supervisor to complete your assigned tasks
