Effective early 2026, The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a full-time permanent faculty position for a staff medical geneticist at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH)-Toronto East Health Network, 825 Coxwell Avenue, Toronto, ON which is a community hospital that serves a diverse population across the lifespan : affiliated with the University of Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Join a team with a genetic counselor and administrative staff.
• Help build a brand new general medical genetics clinic to serve our diverse population and manage care across the lifespan, providing neonatal, paediatric, prenatal and adult clinical genetics services.

Qualifications

Academic appointment

MGH serves as a training site for the University of Toronto’s post-graduate training in Paediatrics, Obstetrics / Gynecology, and Internal Medicine. The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude in post-graduate medical teaching. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Rank and salary per annum will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
