Retail Shift Leader – Canna Cabana
We are actively seeking a knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individual to join our team as a full‑time Shift Leader.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating daily store operations.
- Act as a temporary store manager in the absence of the Store Manager (SM) or Assistant Store Manager (ASM).
- Manage personnel on shift, resolve customer service issues, and provide direction to all store associates as required.
- Maintain store conditions to established standards.
- Ensure staffing levels adequately meet business needs when requested.
- Lead sales and customer service activities and act as a role model when SM / ASM are absent.
- Greet and assist customers, modeling exemplary conduct.
- Enforce company policies and relevant legislation across all staff.
- Handle and, if necessary, elevate customer complaints.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations and meet required standards on shift.
- Achieve sales targets and store‑level KPI’s and ensure employees pursue sales goals.
- Assist with inventory management and be accountable for inventory processes on shift.
Qualifications
Must have valid SellSafe Certification.Completion of high school and college / CEGEP / vocational or technical training required.Demonstrated sales and service orientation.Minimum of 2 years’ retail industry experience; cannabis industry preferred.Excellent time‑management and prioritizing skills.Ability to train, motivate, and lead staff by example.Basic office administration skills.High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Strong teamwork and team‑building skills.Excellent verbal and written communication with individuals at all levels.Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.Ready to work nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations.Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation.Job Types
