Adecco Engineering & Technical Recruitment, on the behalf of our client, a southwestern Ontario manufacturer, requires a qualified mold maker for the Vaughan, ON area.

QUALIFICATIONS – Mold Maker :

Licensed Mold Maker, with a completed apprenticeship
5+ years’ experience as Mold Maker, with the experience of building moulds from scratch, or maintenance
Capable of working on mold / die under minimal supervision and guidance.
Experience with complicated shapes and multiple shot mold

RESPONSIBILITIES - Mold Maker :

The spotting, fitting, and assembling of the various components of molds / dies according to customer specifications and requirements and as directed.

Must be able to handle and operate all hand, air and other tools associated with the trade

Be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings

Be available to travel to customer locations if necessary

Be able to work independently or with others

Be able to safely operate overhead crane system and auxiliary equipment.

Able to spot and fit mold components,

Polish mold surfaces.

Able to operate cut-off saws, mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, etc
