Project Overview

The client is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to support the Housing New Brunswick (HNB) Loans Project . The successful candidate will be responsible for the migration and conversion of loan data from multiple legacy systems into a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution , ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful deployment.

This role requires strong expertise in data migration, SQL development, financial / loan systems, and collaboration with government stakeholders and vendors .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data migration and conversion activities from multiple legacy loan systems into the HNB COTS solution using vendor-supplied data loaders
• Perform detailed data mapping and transformation between source systems and the target platform
• Ensure data integrity through validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and error resolution
• Facilitate and lead data cleanup, configuration, and technical specification sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data conversion
• Support the definition and execution of data archiving strategies for legacy records not being converted
• Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to support testing, defect resolution, and validation of migrated data
• Collaborate with HNB project teams, Service New Brunswick, multiple government departments, and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met
• Assist with production deployment and post-implementation data verification
