Our client, a family-owned and managed agri-business is looking to hire a Crop Inputs Sales Consultant. They are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking and dedicated individual to join their team on site in Huron County, Ontario.
The Crop Inputs Sales Consultant will provide farm customers with agronomic service and information while being responsible for selling, seed, fertilizer, crop protection products and services to growers.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide guidance to growers through pre-season planning and in-season execution
- Manage budgeted sales goals for each aspect of the crop inputs business
- Manage customer relationships
- Assist growers in marketing their grain
- Contract all types of grain from farm customers
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Continued education through courses, conferences, seminars and mentoring
DESIRED PROFILE :
Minimum 3 years experience in crop inputs and grain business in a customer facing roleThorough product and agronomy knowledge with experience in consultingCertified Crop Advisor (CCA) or willingness and ability to achieve CCA StatusComputer literacyValid G Driver’s LicenseAbility to work independently and in a teamExcellent communication and customer service skills
