Duties & Responsibilities
Develop strategies and execute the implementation of lifecycle marketing projects, specific to email, SMS, loyalty, and retention programs and tacticsPlan, execute, and refine multi-channel campaigns for clients, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deliveryProvide guidance and support with campaign briefs, pre-deployment testing, and / or customer segmentation for a variety of client projectsDefine and measure channel metrics to ensure projects are delivered with measurable success and achieve performance targetsConduct audits on clients’ lifecycle marketing initiatives to create strategic roadmaps for growth and performance in alignment with their business goalsAid in the preparation and delivery of client presentations and effectively manage technical questions from clientsIdentify and develop solutions that enable Northern to expand existing client services and new client acquisitionKnowledge, Education & Experience Required
years of marketing experience with a proven track record in email marketingAdvanced experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and / or Adobe CampaignExperience with SMS marketing and CRM platforms requiredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, specifically applied to email and SMS performance and ability to implement strategic optimizationsProficiency with HTML, MJML, CSS and / or responsive email codingA College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience. We welcome highly experienced, self-taught, and self-motivated learners who express a strong passion for digital marketingDemonstrated knowledge of CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR complianceProficiency with customer data management, measuring channel metrics and performance, and monitoring deliverabilityBonus Skills : (not required but will get you noticed!)
Agency experience preferred, with + years experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency processes using agile project management methodologiesPrior experience with migrating email marketing platforms, specifically the requirements for transitioning successfully through account setup, data migration, and account warming processesUnderstanding of customer data platforms (CDP) and CRM integrations that support marketing activitiesPlatform certifications in Salesforce (eg. Marketing Cloud Administrator) and / or Adobe Campaign (eg.
