Job Summary :
The School of Creative Arts is seeking a sessional instructor for Fall 2024 to teach MEDA360 : Professional Practices for Creative Digital Industries. The course is currently scheduled as a face-to-face course, for Thursdays, 4-6 : 50pm.
Qualifications :
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field within media arts or career development.
- Experience teaching Media Arts courses at the post-secondary level, and in advising on occupation-specific portfolio requirements for employment within the diverse areas of Media Arts.
- Committed to teaching and mentoring students, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and internationalized classroom environment.
- Ability to incorporate or reflect Indigenous perspectives or ways of teaching and learning into their curriculum.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and other faculty.
