About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Product Owner!

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner for our Rapid Prototyping team. The mission of this team is to de-risk innovative solutions by quickly assessing their feasibility, desirability and viability through the design, development, and implementation of functional prototypes.

What you'll do here :

As a Product Owner (PO) reporting to the Manager of the Rapid Prototyping team, your main responsibilities will be :

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of design and development experts; support the planning, prioritization and coordination of its activities on several initiatives carried out in parallel.

Partner with leaders and various teams within the organization to enable initiatives. Lead and facilitate collaboration with internal and external partners.

Prepare impactful presentations and communications for varied audiences.

Establish measurable objectives and success indicators to guide the design, development and performance analysis of prototypes. Monitor and report on the performance of solutions in production.

Understand business needs and define the scope of the prototypes. Contribute to prioritizing solution features in collaboration with design and technical experts.

Document requirements and prepare user stories in collaboration with developers.

Identify and communicate the impact on IT systems and business processes to support change management in business units.

Lead the evaluation of innovative ideas’ potential to inform, prioritize and present our future projects.

Actively participate in the team’s agile ceremonies.

Contribute to strengthening our innovation and product management practices in the context of prototyping.

What you bring to the table :

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the creation and development of digital products.

Excellent ability to understand business needs and translate them into product objectives.

Knowledge of applications in a web and native mobile environment.

Knowledge of performance measurement tools and agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to facilitate discussions and workshops.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
