Salary :
Tree Time Services is seeking motivated and hard-working individuals to join our team for our 2025 tree planting program.
Our planting season begins in early May and typically runs until late fall, with potential for additional fall and winter work. Last season, many of our planters enjoyed over 100 workdays, making this a rewarding opportunity for dedicated workers.
Because of our focus on worker safety, as well the varying types of projects we encounter, Tree Time pays all planters an hourly wage. By placing less emphasis on individual production, we believe this reduces risks in the workplace for our employees.
The Role :
- Planting a variety of tree species to client specifications
- Safely driving to work locations
- Loading and transporting tree seedlings
- Quality checks
What to Expect :
Hotel and Oil & Gas camp accommodation. (All accommodation is paid for by the company- no camp cost)Daily per diem when staying in hotels.Hourly pay with overtime (1.5x Wage) paid after 8 hours a day and 44 hours in a week (12-hour workdays on average)Comprehensive safety training provided (First Aid, H2S Alive, TDG etc.)All necessary planting equipment suppliedWhat we Require :Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol TestDriver’s License (Alberta Class 5 or equivalent)18 or older with SIN or valid Canadian work visaAble to lift 50lbs and physically fitWilling to work up to 12 hours / day for shifts up to 24 consecutive days in the fieldTeam player with good attention to detail and willingness to learnGood to Have :
Experience driving with trailersPrevious tree planting experienceLove for the outdoors and interest in outdoor sports, hobbies, etc.Background in forestry or environmental sciencesTree Time Services' Core Values :
