ROLE PROFILE : Server
REPORTS TO : FOH Manager
General Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure the highest guest satisfaction by providing consistent excellence of service and giving genuine personal attention
- Project a pleasant and positive professional image to all guests at all times
- Sell and up-sell menu and beverage menu items
- Deliver and present food and beverage items to guest tables in a timely manner
- Buss and re-set tables, keep server stations stocked and clean
- Perform opening and closing duties, as well as daily and weekly cleaning duties, as outlined in checklists
- Maintain good working knowledge of the POS system and payment machines in order to provide efficient and accurate ordering and billing
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant menus, including features, glossaries, and technique to deliver accurate information to guests
- Communicate with guests, supervisors and co-workers, using appropriate etiquette and language, and work in cooperation with all colleagues, supervisors and other departments.
- Comply with Arcana policies and procedures
Qualifications / Qualities :

Ability to work a flexible schedule, evenings, late night holidays, and weekends as business requires

Exposure to extremely hot and cold temperatures from equipment
Lifting up to 30lbs
Exposure to potential food allergens; shellfish, fish, nuts
