Our established yet growing, privately owned Asset Management client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join this newly created role and team. This individual will be a key member in building out a structure for the team and will collaborate closely with various other teams. They will get the chance to assist with projects, complete reporting and data management.

Please note : this position requires you to be in Ontario and in the local area, as this is an on-site position.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with customized financial and operational metrics for Investor fund-raising initiatives and reporting and participate in preparing fund-raising presentations, pitch decks and other materials
  • Establish, monitor and manage internal portfolio level financial and operational performance and KPI reporting
  • Compare and analyze actual results with plans and forecasts, to evaluate property level performance
  • Develop tools and perform market research, data mining, business intelligence and property level benchmark tracking to support revenue management strategies
  • Analyze financial market and other benchmark data for decision-making support
  • Assist Asset Management, Property Management & Operations teams, and provide financial analysis and insights for the company as a whole
  • Provide the Sales departments with performance trends and information utilized in sales efforts
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and rules, as well as government

    Qualifications :

  • CFA designated or enrolled preferred
  • To succeed in this role, a background in real estate or a financial institution is ideal
  • Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
