Job Description

Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.

Creating drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.

Choosing and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.

Checking identification to ensure that customers are of legal drinking age.

Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.

Following all food safety and quality regulations.

Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to customers, and balancing the cash register.

Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

Creating new cocktail recipes.

Requirements

Diploma from high school.

Additional education, training, certificates, or experience will be required.

Meets the state’s minimum drinking age.

Work availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Positive personality, engaging appearance, and professional demeanor.

Basic math and computer skills are required.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent time management and task management abilities.

Attention to detail and knowledge of drink mixing tools and techniques.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for long periods of time.

Terms of Employment :

Full time

Permanent Position

Salary : $13.33 - $25.00 per hour

Required Years of Experience : 1 to 2 years
