BIM Designer – Mechanical

Job Summary :

Our mechanical design / build client is looking for a talented individual to take the lead as a Senior BIM Design / Coordinator on system specific scopes for a hospital project. The ideal candidate will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, where collaboration with project managers, on-site supervisors, and field staff is crucial. The company emphasizes multi-trade coordination, pre-fabrication, and modularization throughout the project cycle, from initial design to final fabrication.

Must Have :

• Bachelor's Degree, diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or BIM related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with BIM in the design, coordination, and oversight of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and knowledge of associated BIM and clash detection tools.
• Ability to review and understand as-builts to ensure accurate representation in BIM models.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, mechanical systems, and codes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
