About the Role
Kitchener Executive Consultants has partnered with an established precision manufacturing organization serving highly regulated and technically demanding markets to seek an accomplished General Manager to lead its operations through the next phase of performance improvement and growth. The role offers the opportunity to assume full responsibility for the strategic, operational, and cultural leadership of a complex manufacturing environment supporting Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, Medical, Energy, and Industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to Executive leadership, the General Manager will oversee all functional areas of the business, including Engineering, Production, Quality, Materials, and Scheduling, with responsibility for a large, multi-shift, non-union manufacturing workforce. The mandate is to drive operational efficiency, improve profitability, and strengthen execution across the entire value stream while maintaining rigorous quality and compliance standards required within their targeted industries.
Functional Areas & Scope
This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable setting strategy and being present on the shop floor, translating objectives into disciplined execution.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will bring deep experience leading precision machining or advanced manufacturing operations, with a strong technical understanding of CNC machining, complex manufacturing processes, and engineered-to-order environments. A proven track record of full P&L accountability, continuous improvement, and operational turnaround or optimization is essential. This individual will be expected to build strong cross‑functional alignment, support new product introductions, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence.
