About The Role
We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Engineering Manager to join our team in the Vancouver office.
- Manage and oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing engineering projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
- Be responsible for technical approval and sign‑off of the project’s engineering and design.
- Collaborate with Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
- Be responsible for the performance of the design team regarding schedule, budget, and resources.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that exceed expectations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.
About You
A bachelor’s degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering.Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, proven leadership experience; experience in Gold, Rare Earths, or Nickel is advantageous.Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, focusing on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, emphasizing planning, scheduling, and budgeting.Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.Why Ausenco?

Salary range : $175,000–$200,000. Variation depends on qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
