IT Helpdesk Technician

GTA / Kitchener / Waterloo – Full Time, Hybrid role

Position Summary

This is a hybrid role based around the Greater Toronto / Kitchener / Waterloo area. Primarily working from home but also able to travel to our office locations when needed. The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and customers.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Technical support of Hardware and Software
  • Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis
  • Managing IT contracts and renewals
  • Supporting our SaaS operations working with senior IT Admins
  • Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments
  • Monitor and maintain system and network performance
  • Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded)
  • Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance

Qualifications and Skills :

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study
  • 1+ year working with Windows Server
  • Strong problem solving and technical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning
  • Bonus : certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure
