IT Helpdesk Technician
GTA / Kitchener / Waterloo – Full Time, Hybrid role
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role based around the Greater Toronto / Kitchener / Waterloo area. Primarily working from home but also able to travel to our office locations when needed. The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and customers.
Job Responsibilities :
- Technical support of Hardware and Software
- Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation
- Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis
- Managing IT contracts and renewals
- Supporting our SaaS operations working with senior IT Admins
- Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments
- Monitor and maintain system and network performance
- Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded)
- Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance
Qualifications and Skills :
College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study1+ year working with Windows ServerStrong problem solving and technical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentEnthusiasm for continuous learningBonus : certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure
