Selkirk College's School of Industry and Trades Training requires a temporary, full-time Tool Room Attendant. This position provides operation and maintenance services to the Trade Program Tool Rooms.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance services for the Metal / Wood and Mechanical / Electrical Trade Program Tool Rooms
- Performs first aid duties for the School of Industry and Trades Training

High school graduation or equivalentValid Advanced First Aid WorkSafeBC certification (formerly OFA Level 3)Valid BC Driver’s LicenseWHMIS certificationValid Forklift CertificationRequired to be proficient in word processing, email and appropriate software applicationsAdditional desirable assets include a relevant red seal trade qualificationThis is a temporary, full-time (100%) position covering a leave, commencing as soon as possible and ending March 6, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Salary will be Pay Grade 8, $33.38 per hour in accordance with the PPWC Collective Agreement.
