Position Summary :

Reporting to the Vice President, Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics Division, the Logistics Manager is responsible for the planning, coordinating and execution of the strategy associated with the end-to-end logistics within the complex transportation network servicing the Arctic.

The role includes leadership of a team in the provision of customer service to the Co-op System that rely on complex fly in and seasonal transportation networks including sealift, barge and winter road.

This role requires advanced logistical planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential goods to some of the most challenging operating environments.

This key management position is also responsible for the management of transportation / logistics contracts and the coordination and administration of transportation / logistics activities for the Co-op System in accordance with approved financial plans.
