Country Swing Instructor

• Instruct individuals and groups in the art of country swing dancing, covering both lead and follow roles.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels.
• Provide clear demonstrations and instructions to ensure participants grasp dance concepts effectively.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes growth and enjoyment for all dancers.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying crowd sizes and venue configurations.
• Stay updated on evolving trends and traditional country swing techniques to enhance instructional content.
• Collaborate with team members to organize and promote country swing events, workshops, and performances.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Country Swing Instructor or similar role, with expertise in both lead and follow roles.
• In-depth knowledge of country swing dance styles, including but not limited to East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, and Texas Two-Step.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with dancers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Comfortable teaching in front of diverse audiences in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey dance techniques clearly.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for sharing the joy of country swing dancing with others.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• CPR and first aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
