Service Manager HVAC

OVERVIEW :

PMC Energy is seeking a proven leader in the HVAC industry to join its senior leadership team as Service Manager . Based in Halifax, this role will oversee our HVAC service operations across Nova Scotia, driving growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing division while contributing to PMC’s mission of delivering outstanding, environmentally responsible energy solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead the HVAC service team to achieve excellence in safety, performance, and customer satisfaction
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including service administration, dispatch, invoicing, and work-in-progress reviews
• Drive business development through preventative maintenance agreements, repair quotations, and technician-led opportunities
• Conduct site visits, quality checks, and safety inspections to ensure high standards of delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Collaborate with directors, the general manager, and ownership on company strategy and growth initiatives
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and present operational updates to senior leadership
• Mentor and coach staff to strengthen capabilities and achieve departmental goals
