Your Impact Starts Here - Are you ready to tackle some of the most complex and rewarding challenges in the industry? As a Survey Party Chief, you'll lead field survey operations across diverse projects in civil, infrastructure, and land development. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values precision, and enjoys mentoring junior technicians while driving project success.

Your Impact

• Lead field survey crews to capture accurate topographic, boundary, construction, and control data.
• Interpret project plans and legal descriptions to plan and execute daily field activities.
• Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, including GNSS receivers and total stations.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with WSP standards, collaborating with office teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Mentor and train junior crew members, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience, including 2 years in a Party Chief role.
• Proficiency with modern survey equipment and software (Trimble, Leica, Civil 3D, MicroSurvey).
• Strong understanding of geodetic principles, boundary analysis, and construction layout.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel (5-10%) and work in all weather conditions.
• Chainsaw experience and training is an asset.
• Graduate of Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS), EIT designation, or equivalent is an asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $66,700 - $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
