Worley Canada Construction is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Workface Planner to work in our growing Construction Management team at our Project Sites in Saskatchewan, Alberta, & British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provides support to leadership in the following key areas : scheduling, workface planning, coordinating, and ensuring the HSE. Support with material forecasting, purchasing and management.
- Communicate the job to and with the Foremen on a daily. Provide written updates as required
- Recognize, address, and resolve issues / problems within the drawings, 3D models, standards, details and specifications
- Apply change management to execution and planning.
- Identify and quantify rework
- Identify, create and / or verify that the field installation work package which include all tools and materials required by the crew are available at the work location and complete. Identify and address any backorders or OSD's
- Identify needs, deficiencies, and changes in plan / schedule. Assess impacts and communicate these to the appropriate persons.
- Translate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for each crew.
- Review and adjust specific workface activities and task schedules to meet established production schedules.
- Identify, verify, and report any scheduling conflicts with other crews and contractors to the appropriate persons.
- Review inspection reports and coordinate resolutions to deficiencies
- Ensure Foremen’s logs / progress sheets are maintained, accurate and submitted on time
- Report on crew production, work progress, and change
- Other activities as required to attain successful completion of the project
- Create material take-offs based on IFC drawings, details, and specifications.
- Review and understand all project specifications, standards, and details.
- Understand the project schedule and plans scopes of work to achieve key milestones.
- Develop 3-week schedules and highlights high-risk activities, HSE requirements, and delays.
- Understand AFE budgets and Rates of Placement
- Support with LOTO on smaller projects.
- review and update JHA's for the project
- Assemble termination assurance and energized work packages
Qualifications :
