Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years

On site : Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
• Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
• Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Investigate electrical or electronic failures
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
• Commission systems and components
• Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
• Interpret electrical code specifications

Qualifications

Apprenticeship training : Level one through Level five apprenticeship training

Type of service and repair : Programmable logic controller (PLC)

Computer and technology knowledge : AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Windows, Electronic mail

Area of work experience : Design, Project management, Project planning, Engineering professional and construction management (EPCM)

Area of specialization : Electrical, Construction, Canadian Electrical (CE) Code
