Description de posteat ENMAX, we’re lighting the way together. As the Senior Engineer, Metering Quality Assurance , you set the standard for metering excellence at ENMAX. In this role, maintaining, updating, and enforcing the Metering Standard ensures safe, compliant operations for today and tomorrow. Leading continuous improvements in our Quality Assurance program and partnering with Measurement Canada upholds accreditation and compliance. We’re proud of who we are and the work we do to support our communities and customers who depend on us, because Major Responsibilities : Monitor and implement changes in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements Education Required : Qualifications & Experience : Minimum 10 years of related utility experience Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Systems, codes, regulations, work practices, and safety Knowledge of wireless communication and radio frequency standards (asset) Good knowledge of metering, metering data, infrastructure, and radio technologies Strong written and oral communication skills Competencies : Strong understanding of the business and environment Adaptability and ability to implement innovative technologies and drive continuous improvement Advanced problem solving, strategic thinking, decision making, and planning skills Exceptional time management and stakeholder Strong facilitation skills for cross-functional teams Technical expertise in electrical industry and metering systems Location : 141 - 50th Avenue SE. This role is part of our hybrid work model with Core Days in office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays), and flexible options for Mondays and Fridays. Two professional references will be requested. Education requirements for this position will be verified by a third party.
