The ability to speak and write well in English is needed.

We have ongoing relevant educational training modules to help you grow in your knowledge while you work.

Requirements :

• Smart phone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and take visit notes.
• Complete a criminal record check.
• Consistent job performance & attendance, our clients can rely on.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional demeanour and respectful attitude.
• Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks.
• Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary).
• Flexible availability.
• Previous caregiving and or elder care experience.
• 1+ personal references.
• Bonus : if you have your own car and you can drive!

Caregiver Tasks Include :

Meal prep + planning.

Housekeeping (including laundry).

Personal care + hygiene (ex : showering assist).

Medication routines.

Client errands.

Dementia care.

Quality time + companionship.

Assistance with client pets (dogs + cats).

Job Types : Part-time, Casual

Pay : $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Staff can make a real difference in their local community caring for individuals making sure they get the right type and amount of care. We customize the care each client receives and update their care plans as needs change. Having consistent caregivers working weekly with their specific clients is how we ensure there is rapport and that consistent care is in place.
