As part of the Energy Control Center (ECC) Operations Engineering team, the Power System Operations SCADA / EMS / DMS Engineer provides specialized engineering support to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the New Brunswick electric power system. They support the Transmission and Distribution control room through the transition and sustainment of a modern grid.

Key functions include :

• Maintaining and providing technical support on the SCADA / EMS system and ADMS to ensure the system’s functionality and reliability
• Providing real-time technical support to the ECC Power System Operators and ECC Operations Engineers to ensure regulatory and operational criteria are met
• Creating and providing training for the ECC Control Room Operators on SCADA / EMS / DMS related topics
